Days of exhibition
The exhibition consists of three sections: "From the early Renaissance to the death of Lorenzo the Magnificent" (1492), "Renaissance at its peak" and "Masterpieces". It presents an overview of the arts, customs and life in Florence during the Renaissance. 67 works are on display, including paintings, sculptures and artifacts that were borrowed from more than 20 museums and galleries (including the Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti and the Palatine Gallery). Most of the works on display were made between 1400 and 1500. Masterpieces by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael and Michelangelo and other famous artists are featured in the exhibition.
