The Exhibition
200 artifacts on loan from the Naples Archaeological Museum - many of which are shown in the United States for the first time - will illustrate the life of Pompeii’s inhabitants prior to the catastrophic eruption of Mt Vesuvius. Artifacts on display include the Bronze Gladiator Helmet (1st century AD), the Bronze Statue of Apollo (1st century AD - 50 AD) and exquisite frescoes like the one depicting Dionysus and Silenus (50-79 AD). These priceless artifacts will be shown alongside a spectacular scenography recreating the city of Pompeii, a 3D theatre reenacting the eruption and other immersive exhibits.
