Monet to Van Gogh

"Monet to Van Gogh, Masterpieces from the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Roma" exhibition brings together 37 of the world's greatest artists and will feature 48 authentic works from 1865 to 1972. The exhibition will include one of Monet's most iconic water lily series, Modigliani's famous female nudes, works by Van Gogh, Miro and Pollock from their mature periods, and works by Italian artists such as Giacomo Balla, Umberto Boccioni, Giorgio de Chirico and Luzio Fontana. The exhibition will be organized under five main themes, revealing the interconnections between many schools of art and famous artists, from Impressionism to Symbolism, from Post-Impressionism to Expressionism, from Cubism to Futurism, from Dadaism to Surrealism, presenting a feast of modern art.
